Your account
Keep your password secure and use one account per person. You must be 18 or over and a working education professional or training to become one.
Free trial and subscriptions
- New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. You add a payment card to begin it, and nothing is charged during the trial.
- When the trial ends your card is charged for the plan you chose, and then renews automatically, unless you cancel before the trial ends. We email you a few days before the trial ends. Cancel any time from Settings, then Manage billing, and you will not be charged.
- Accounts created before this card-first trial was introduced keep their original no-card trial.
- A paid subscription (£6.99 per month or £49.99 per year, including any tax) is needed to add or edit content once the trial has ended. You can always view and export your existing content.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from Settings, then Manage billing; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Your free trial needs a card, and you are only charged when it ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. After your first payment, ask within 14 days and we will refund it. You can cancel any time under Settings, and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your content
You own what you write. You give us permission to store and display it to you to run the service. Do not upload unlawful material. Class lists must use first names or initials only, and you must not enter sensitive personal data about pupils (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for making sure your use complies with your school's data-protection rules.
Availability and liability
We aim for a reliable service but provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee it will always be available. Keep your own copy of anything critical. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Ending the service
You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we close the service we will give at least 30 days' notice.
