A large countdown for the board. Pick a preset or type your own minutes, and it chimes when time is up.
A timer the whole room can see
The numbers are big and high-contrast, so pupils at the back can read them. Press Full screen for giant digits that fill the whiteboard (it also works on browsers without a full-screen mode, such as phones), and the time also shows in the browser tab so you can glance at it from another window.
Presets for the moments that matter
One click for 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes covers starters, silent reading, plenaries and tidy-up. Type any number of minutes for everything else. You can pause and resume at any point.
Works without a sign-up
There is nothing to install and nothing is sent anywhere. The chime uses your device's sound, so check the volume before the lesson. Press the space bar to start or pause.
Will it still count down if I switch tabs?
Yes. It measures real elapsed time, so it stays accurate even if the tab is in the background.
Can I turn the sound off?
Yes, untick Chime. The screen will still flash when time is up.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded it keeps working without a connection.
